The Important Role of Community Colleges

A few months ago I did a stock shoot for some education policy publications in conjunction with NYC community colleges about the important role often-overlooked community colleges play in the American education system. Truly diverse, not just by race and class but cutting across age barriers and more, it's not unusal to see 70-year-old women and teenage guys working on the same art project. I had a great experience in my undergraduate classes, but they were extremely homogenous. Here are some samples of that work.
